Camino de Santiago Walk for Jack

I wish to extend a huge thank you to all who journeyed along the Camino with Elmarie last week.  The seven days spent together were absolutely wonderful - we walked, we talked, we cried, we laughed, we sang, we prayed and we always thought of Jack.

The experience was both  personal and communal, it was spiritual and on several occasions it was theatrical, thanks in no small measure to Brendan Daly and his entourage!!!

There is little left to say except that as a group we will be always there for Elmarie and Peter, Jack, Clare and Jean.

Buen Camino
Siobhan Murray and all the pilgrims!!!!

Jack also attended and participated in an on-pitch interview at half-time.

Preceded by a lunch for 250 in Old Belvedere Rugby Club, the match `and its organisation was strongly supported by all seven schools, their pupils, their parents associations and their past pupils. Overall over €100,000 was raised through sponsorship, programme advertising, the lunch, a raffle, and jersey and ticket sales.
